Paul Magersuppe is a gifted jazz saxophonist. He is respected and admired by his fellow musicians and his personal warmth and tremendous playing skill make him an asset at any event.

He's worked with Ted Knight since the early 1980s. Ted chose Paul to lead the band for his own daughter's wedding. Paul is also a classical flute soloist. At weddings, he often plays flute for the ceremony followed by sax and flute with Ted's band for the reception.

Paul is featured with the Ted Knight Quintet on Beautiful Love, a jazz CD released in 2007. At right, he's pictured with trumpet player David Gibble. Paul and Dave are heard together on the CD.

A Florida native, Paul received his music degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee and is the long-time band director at Jefferson Davis Middle School in West Palm Beach.
