Ted Knight and the Convertibles
play rock oldies, island music and variety for weddings and parties in
Florida, or anywhere in the southeastern U.S.
The repertoire
starts with oldies from the 50s and 60s including songs from Motown, Elvis, the Beatles,
and Chuck Berry. There are classic rock numbers from Steppenwolf and Queen,
all-time favorites like Jailhouse
Rock, and unexpected treats like Money (That's What I Like).
The mix can include
disco, blues, and
country as well as plenty of
rock and roll. See the

Ted sings lead from his keyboard
with backup vocals from the guitarist and bassist, and additional
vocalists can be added. The
band is available with or without horns.
The
band provides its own sound system, from a setup that won't overpower a
small room to a major PA ready for
crowds of 500 or more. Stage lighting is also available. Attire
can be casual or formal.
