Knight
Music the right music
Ted Knight leads bands playing music that people of all ages can enjoy. There's pop, rock, reggae, jazz, blues, and Latin, from a duo to a twenty-piece big band.
Knight Music is right for parties, weddings, dances, concerts and corporate events. Based in South Florida, they've played in Tampa and Jacksonville as well as Miami and Boca Raton, and they're available to play anywhere in the Southeast.
Ted sings from his keyboard, with additional vocalists available. He uses real drums and horns instead of recorded backgrounds, getting the groove that only true live music can create.
Crosswind features guitar and keyboard, playing artists like Santana, Creedence, the Eagles, Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffet.
The World's Smallest Big Band has two horns, the orchestra has four, and Ted's big band has ten horns or more.
The mix starts with jazz, swing and blues, adding pop, rock and Latin as needed.
Knight Music combos start with TK Express, a keyboard and drums duo. Add bass, sax or guitar for a trio, or two out of three for a quartet. The quintet with sax and trumpet has released a CD of jazz standards, Beautiful Love.
Specialty bands
The Dixie Ramblers play Dixieland jazz and swing. Orquesta Nostalgia is a Latin band that can play American pop and rock when needed. Ted also has bands playing music for Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, and Oktoberfest.
